Lara's Story

Welcome to my blog website! My name is Lara O'Brien, and I am happy that you have stopped by for a while. I spent a huge part of my life battling clinical depression and anorexia nervosa, and, happily, I am on the other side of that pain - praise God! Since our God is in the "making lemonade out of lemons" business, He led me on a path to develop this ministry to speak and to write to those who are suffering or who have suffered from depression and eating disorders and all of the anguish that goes along with those things. I pray that God will work through me to show those who are hurting to realize that they are made in the image of God and that He loves them dearly!
